Let’s Honor Our Veterans

It is important to remember and honor the service and sacrifices of our veterans. In an effort to do so we will be hosting, a free program, presented by John Sherman. John will take you along as he follows his father’s footsteps through the battles of the 10th Mountain Division in the northern Apennine Mountains of Italy. The 10th Mountain Division was a distinctive division of the Army. It was the only division trained for mountain and winter warfare. The soldiers trained in the Rocky Mountains at Camp Hale northwest of Leadville, Colorado. Camp Hale was recently dedicated as a National Monument.
