Whiskey Mash | Bill Poss | 80 Proof Alice | Weda Skkirts | Foggy Memory Boys

The Whiskey Mash Band embodied the premise of bluegrass music by not only perfectly depicting the mountain twang with modern twists, but by also encouraging musicians who are not officially in the band to share the stage. With Andrew Morris of The Matchsellers on banjo and Howard Mahan sitting in adding a double guitar, the show elevated from voltaic to eruptive.

Foggy Memory Boys

Foggy Memory Boys.jpg

Drawing from a deep well of musical experience the Boys have a unique perspective on string band music, contorting the sound into a New Mexican Wild-grass like nothing else out there… structured around strong lyrical content, powerful melodies, and a musical bond that only a band of true brothers can create.

With a fresh rip -snortin’ approach to strong melodically driven songs, a playful energy, smooth singing harmonies, and an infectious stage presence. The boys have been pushing their way to the forefront of the New Mexico music scene.

Formed around late night jams at the prestigious Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival, they blur the lines between traditional bluegrass roots music and more contemporary styles.
